π³Rooted: Becoming The Tree God Planted You To Be
πΏA Blessed year of growth in Yahweh
Hello, beautiful community of the Kingdom! This year has been a beautiful transformation of growth in God in my mind, body, soul, and spirit. As I sat this week reflecting, I was away from work for a week. I was chatting with a friend and realized I hadn’t blogged in about 6 months.
So here I am. You may be on this same path of growth, but if not, I have good news for you. We are currently in month 6 of 2025, and this journey continues to unfold layers of transformation. So I am here today, wanting you to, share in this experience with me. God has a sense of humor, even at my ripe age of 40,+ I can see His humor slapping me in the face at times.
Have you ever tried to figure things out on your own? I certainly have, but as I grow, I realize even more how much beauty there is in rest and gradual growth. We were not called just to run but also to walk with God in this life journey. As I continue to surrender and just submit to His ways, I find things flow much more easily.
There is life and death in the power of our tongue, and God desires that we live this life in continual growth, spiritual well-being, and fruitfulness to walk out the destiny Yahweh has placed on our lives. With that being said, below I have provided a free 21-day devotional journey, and I invite you to join me! Let’s truly be the trees of righteousness Yahweh has called us to be.
A 21-Day Devotional for Women Growing in God, Bearing Fruit, and Living with Purpose
Ever felt buried, overlooked, or unsure of your purpose? Maybe youβve been in a dry season, waiting on God to move. The truth is, He already has. He planted you.
Throughout Scripture, God compares His people to trees, planted, watered, pruned, and fruitful. Trees arenβt rushed; they grow deep, stand tall, and produce fruit over time. In this 21-day devotional, weβll explore how God designed you to be the same: rooted in Christ, fruitful in every season, and unshakable in the storms of life.
Whether youβre in a season of planting, pruning, or producing, this series is for the woman who wants to live deeply rooted in Godβs Word and boldly walk in her divine identity.
πΏ Week 1: Planted by God β Your Foundation
Before fruit comes roots. This week, we anchor ourselves in the truth that God has intentionally planted us for a purpose. Even the dark places, the quiet, hidden seasons, are necessary for growth.
- Day 1: Planted with Purpose β Psalm 1:3
- Day 2: Trust Like a Tree β Jeremiah 17:7β8
- Day 3: Trees of Righteousness β Isaiah 61:3
- Day 4: Rooted in Christ β Colossians 2:7
- Day 5: Planted, Not Buried β John 12:24
- Day 6: Divine Soil β Matthew 13:8
- Day 7: Still I Rise β Job 14:7
πΈ Reflection: Ask yourself where has God planted me? Am I resisting the soil Iβm in, or am I surrendering to the season?
πΏ Week 2: Growing in God β Your Maturity
Now that youβre planted, itβs time to grow. But growth doesnβt always look like progress. Sometimes, it looks like pruning, watering, and waiting. God is working in the unseen places, stretching your roots and strengthening your spirit.
- Day 8: Fruit Reveals the Root β Matthew 7:17β20
- Day 9: Pruned to Produce β John 15:2
- Day 10: Watered by the Word β Ephesians 5:26
- Day 11: The Tree of Life Within You β Proverbs 11:30
- Day 12: Strong Roots, Not Shallow Ones β Matthew 13:21
- Day 13: Bear Fruit in Every Season β Psalm 92:13β14
- Day 14: See Yourself Clearly β Mark 8:24
πΈ Reflection: Am I letting God prune what no longer serves me? Is my life bearing the kind of fruit that glorifies Him?
πΏ Week 3: Standing in Purpose β Your Fruitfulness & Legacy
You were not only planted to grow, you were planted to produce. And not just any fruit, but lasting fruit. As your roots deepen, your life becomes a refuge for others. Youβre not just building for now, youβre building a legacy.
- Day 15: Grafted by Grace β Romans 11:17
- Day 16: A Tree That Heals β Revelation 22:2
- Day 17: Donβt Envy Other Trees β Galatians 6:4
- Day 18: Shade for Others β Daniel 4:12
- Day 19: Fruit That Remains β John 15:16
- Day 20: Winds Will Blow, But You Wonβt Break β Isaiah 43:2
- Day 21: Fully Rooted, Fully Alive β Ephesians 3:17β19
πΈ Reflection: Who is finding shade, strength, or healing because of my growth? What legacy am I building with my life?
Final Thoughts: Your Roots Matter
This devotional journey isnβt about perfection, itβs about being planted, staying rooted, and trusting the process. You are not a random seed. You are the planting of the Lord for the display of His splendor (Isaiah 61:3).
When your roots go deep in Him, storms wonβt shake you, delays wonβt break you, and seasons wonβt define you. You are already fruitful, because youβre firmly rooted in Christ.
Yours Truly,
Devin La’ Angelia
