Wise Wallet Talks…
Itβs no secret that there has always been a wealth gap. Nevertheless, God has the final say over our finances and our Destiny. One of the things I have allowed God to do in my life, is to teach me better money habits. I’ve had to take a real hard look at my finances and the hasty decisions, I had made.
What God revealed to me was, that my pursuit was right, however the motive was going in the wrong direction. Anytime we are pursuing something in business, our career or using our talent. We need to ensure that we are not outside of our divine alignment and purpose.
Proverbs 10:4 says “He becomes poor who deals with a slack hand, but the hand of the diligent makes it the rich”
“Diligence is a constant and earnest effort to accomplish what is undertaken. It is a persistent excursion of the body or mind diligence, promotes prosperity, riches, and plenty, and leads to success, but even in our pursuit, we must make sure that our heart has the right posture and we are not pursuing things in greed and lust.”
A recent study, I read, revealed that as of October 2024, there are 12 million people who still rely on payday loans. Why!? It could be driven by inflation, low income, or high expenses, nevertheless, whatever the case is, anytime we have to continue borrowing. We are putting ourselves in a deficit.
God wants to help us break that cycle and lead us into abundance. I want to encourage you and inform you, that your skill is needed, your skill is valuable, and your skill does not have to take you outside of divine alignment. God has given us the skills and talent to create wealth and passive income streams.
Deuteronomy 8:18 – And you shall remember theΒ LordΒ your God,Β forΒ it isΒ He who gives you power to get wealth,Β that He mayΒ establish His covenant which He swore to your fathers, asΒ it isΒ this day.
What Else Can We Do?
We can learn the keys to understanding our finances more strategically, which is a game-changer. When budgeting, setting clear, realistic financial goals is your first step.
Knowing where every cent goes each month helps in organizing how you spend and save. Creating a budget isnβt a one-and-done task; itβs like a living document that changes with your financial situation. You can use apps or even a trusty notebook to keep track of all expenses.
Saving doesnβt need to be risky or complicated. Start by building an emergency fund. That’s at least three to six months of living expenses saved up. Donβt stress if you can only save a little at a time; the key is consistency. Automating your savings can ensure you donβt miss putting money aside regularly. Think of it as paying yourself first.Β

Why You Need To Invest…
Investing is a strategy that might feel like stepping into unknown territory, but it doesn’t have to be intimidating. Start by understanding the basics: stocks, bonds, and mutual funds. Diversification is your friend; spreading investments across various assets can mitigate risks.
Online resources and financial advisors can be great allies here. Start small, and as you gain confidence, gradually increase your investments. A strategy I love to use is compound interest and investing. If you’d like more information on investing, check out my FREE mini ebook theΒ “Wealth Building System”Β
Bare in mind as the stock market shifts, you may very well see a slight decrease and that’s normal with fluctuations. On the flip side, you will see an increase as long as the market is up.
